HOW ARE THE SELL SIGNALS GENERATED?

  • If shorting trades is not available to your instruments, then this is the list of counters to avoid.
  • If you can place a Short order, then here's how the signals are generated and what they mean:-

FOR INSTRUMENTS THAT ALLOW SHORTING TRADES

SELL (SHORT) => BEARISH => BUY (TO COVER)

  1. A SELL Signal () is generated and the trader decides to SHORT some shares of this stock by initiating a SHORT trade.
     

  2. Once the SHORT trade position is OPEN, Bursa Tracker will continuously monitor this position in real time so that you know when to COVER (BUY BACK) your position. (See Diagram S4).
     

  3. BursaTracker can either prompt you to SHORT ( short some more) or reflect the stock as BEARISH (), (See Diagram S4).
     

  4. When the stock bottoms, a BUY signal () (See Diagram S3) is generated, prompting the trader to buy back the shares to cover the short position. This is reflected as () in Diagram S4.

    

SELL => BEARISH => BUY

1) A SELL () signal is generated and the trader/investor decides to SELL some (or all) shares of this stock.

2) BursaTracker will continuously monitor this stock in real time so that you know what is happening to the stock. (See Diagram S4).

3) BursaTracker can either prompt you to SELL ( sell some more) or reflect the stock as BEARISH (), (See Diagram S4).

4) When the stock bottoms, a BUY signal () (See Diagram S3) is generated, prompting the trader to buy the shares and initiate a newtrade. This is reflected as () in Diagram S4.
